The built in apps of the iPad

      • Safari

      • The large Multi-Touch screen on iPad lets you see web pages as they were meant to be seen — one whole page at a time. So whether you’re looking at a page in portrait or landscape, you can see everything at a size that’s actually readable.
      • Photos

      • YouTube

      • It's never been easier to view youtube videos. Just tap the one you want to watch and it starts playing. In landscape mode the video will automatically play fullscreen and on this display, HD content will look stunning.
      • iTunes

      • Calendar

      • A brand new calendar app lets you see an overview of a whole month, or the details of a single day. You can even view multiple calendars at once on the iPad so you can manage personal and business calendars at once.
      • Mail

      • In landscape, you get a split-screen view, showing both an opened email and the messages in your Inbox. To see the opened email by itself you just turn iPad to portrait, and the email automatically rotates and fills the screen.
      • Video

      • Watching video on the iPad is a pleasure with the large high-resolution screen. From HD video, programmes, podcasts and music videos, all of it is a joy. Tap to view full screen with nothing else to distract you and become completely immersed.
      • iPod

      • All your music is literally at your fingertips. Browse your entire catalogue with a simple flick. Tap to play and view the album art at full size. Listen with either the powerful in-built speaker or with headphones, either wired or wireless.
      • Maps

      • See the world from a different view - high-resolution satellite imagery, up close with street view, or with topography in a new terrain view — all using Google Services. Search for a local restaurant and get directions to it from where you are.
      • Contacts

      • The contacts app makes finding names, numbers and contacts easier than ever before. You can see a complete list at the same time as the details of a single contact. If you need directions tap on an address and iPad will open up Maps.
